Overview

Known as the Valley of Shadows because the light of the sun doesn't reach most areas of the 200-foot deep canyon, the Sandhan Valley trek is one of the most unique treks you can do around Maharashtra. The trail takes you all the way down into the valley, to ledges that you'll have to rappel over, and down tricky rock-covered patches that you'll need to negotiate carefully. At the bottom, there are clear pools that you can swim in, and camping here is a thrilling experience.

Kasara Railway Station

Day 1, Saturday: Take Local from CSMT to Kasara fast local

08:44 PM: CSMT
08:58 PM: Dadar
09:11 PM: Ghatkopar
09:26 PM: Thane
09:52 PM: Kalyan
11:04 PM: Kasara
11:15 PM: Report at Kasara Station ( https://goo.gl/maps/mcqSN6qsjjaUHskE8 )
11:45 PM: Take a Dinner Break at Baba da Dhaba and head towards Base Village.

The exact schedule will be shared one day before the event.

Trek Day

Sandhan Valley

Day 2, Sunday: Trek Day

04:30 AM: Reach base village, freshen up
06:00 AM: Introduction round along with rules and start the trek
06:30 AM: Enter into the Valley of Shadow and lead towards the rappelling point.
07:30 AM: Reach the rappelling point of the trek for activity
10:00 AM: Complete the Rappelling activity and head toward end point of the valley
12:00 PM: Start ascending the valley and return to base village
02:00 PM: Reach base village and have lunch
03:00 PM: Depart to Kasara
06:00 PM: Reach Kasara Station (Arrival Time Depends on Pace of Group and Traffic)
(Take the next available local train to Mumbai)
09:00 PM: Adios! Back to the regular city life

Sandhan Valley (Ex-Kasara) Policies

Payment Terms Policy

100% of the total trek cost should be paid 0 days before the date of booking

Confirmation Policy

The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking

Cancellation Policy

If cancellations are made 5-7 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 3-5 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-3 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
No show: No refund.
All refunds will be processed after deducting the registration amount as the registration amount is non-refundable.

Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

Notes

Double dose Vaccine certificate is mandatory.
Avoid wearing precious Jewellery while trekking, as Team TT, won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.
Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without a refund.
Fitness & Health – Though trekking is a fun-filled activity, it demands a good amount of physical fitness. If you are under medication, please carry your medicines. During the trek, leaders will have over the counter medication for temporary treatment, so do give a heads up to them if you need any medical assistance.
Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing a general disturbance.
