Overview

This trek to Kothaligad takes you through rich greenery layered on top of the towering mountains of the Western Ghats. As you approach the fort, you'll climb over 510 stairs built to access the fort. From the top of the fort, you'll catch great views of the surrounding forts of Siddhagad, Malanggad and Prabalgad. You'll also explore the old ruins of Kothaligad such as ancient cannons, temples and caves decorated with scriptures and artwork.
Perfect for adventure enthusiasts planning a weekend getaway, this trek takes you on a relatively easy trail that is perfect for fit beginners as well as experienced trekkers.

10:00 pm: Meet the team at SGNP Main Gate, Borivali East
10:15 pm: Journey Starts, Pickup On the way
10:30 pm: Pickup from Pushpa Park, Malad
10.50 pm: Pickup from Oberoi Mall signal Bustop (After Oberoi Bridge), Goregaon
11.05 pm: Pickup from Hanuman Road bus stop (For Andheri & Vile Parle)
11.15 pm: Pickup from Kalanagar bus stop, Bandra
11.30 pm: Pickup from Sion station, (Opp to MCD/Sion Lunch Home)
12:15 am: Pick up at CIDCO Exhibition Centre Vashi.
12:45 am: Pick up at McDonald's, Kalamboli.

The Trek Day

Kothaligad Peth fort

03:30 am: Reach base village, have breakfast, and rest for a while.
06:30 am: Start trek towards Kothaligad.
10:00 am: Reach the top and enjoy some time there.
11:30 pm: Start return trek towards base village.
01:30 pm: Reach base village and grab delicious unch.
02:30 pm: Start return journey towards Mumbai.
06:00 pm: Reach Mumbai tentatively (Depending upon traffic)

Rainwear / Poncho / Waterproof jacket etc. Rains are expected, so pack your bags accordingly to save them from getting wet. (For monsoons)

Double pack your valuables/phones in plastic bags.

Payment Terms Policy

100% of the total trek cost should be paid 0 days before the date of booking

Confirmation Policy

The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking

Cancellation Policy

If cancellations are made 5-7 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 3-5 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-3 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
No show: No refund.
All refunds will be processed after deducting the registration amount as the registration amount is non-refundable.

Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

Notes

Double dose Vaccine certificate is mandatory.
Avoid wearing precious Jewellery while trekking, as Team TT, won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.
Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without a refund.
Fitness & Health – Though trekking is a fun-filled activity, it demands a good amount of physical fitness. If you are under medication, please carry your medicines. During the trek, leaders will have over-the-counter medication for temporary treatment, so do give a heads up to them if you need any medical assistance.
Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments, and causing a general disturbance.
